An Indian national, Majoti Sahil Mohamed Hussein from Gujarat, has surrendered to Ukrainian forces after reportedly fighting alongside the Russian military. Hussein, who was sentenced to seven years in a Russian prison on drug-related charges, claimed he signed a military contract to avoid punishment. Following a brief combat mission, he chose to surrender, expressing his desire not to return to Russia.
