Indian Naval Academy's Passing Out Parade celebrates 232 trainees and international cooperation.
A grand Passing Out Parade (POP) was held at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) in Ezhimala on November 29, 2025, where 232 trainees, including Midshipmen from the 109th course and cadets from various Naval Orientation Courses, successfully completed their training. The event, reviewed by Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, highlighted the international presence with 18 cadets from seven friendly nations, reflecting the academy’s growing global ties. During the ceremony, exceptional performers received awards, including the President’s Gold Medal to Midshipman Vishesh Kumar for outstanding achievement in the B.Tech course. Additionally, the INA celebrated its 26th convocation, where 87 midshipmen were awarded B.Tech degrees in engineering disciplines, preparing them for advanced naval technology and modern warfare. This dual event underscores the Indian Navy’s commitment to maintaining high training standards and fostering international military cooperation as it equips future leaders to navigate the complexities of maritime security challenges.
