Indian Army Showcases Drone Capabilities in Agartala Demonstration
The Indian Army’s Eastern Command conducted Exercise Drone Prahaar 2 on August 18, 2025, in Agartala, Tripura, demonstrating the tactical integration of indigenously developed unmanned aerial vehicles under the theme “an eagle on every arm.” The drill focused on real-time sensor-to-shooter links for precision targeting, layered surveillance in complex battlefield conditions, airspace deconfliction between manned and unmanned platforms, secure communications, and joint coordination among various arms and services.
