Indian Army Major wins challenging 50km Patnitop Marathon, showcasing endurance and athletic excellence.

Major Sachin Singh Kuntal from the Indian Army Ordnance Corps emerged victorious in the fifth edition of the Patnitop Marathon in Jammu and Kashmir, completing the challenging 50km ultramarathon in 5 hours, 26 minutes, and 1 second. The event, attracting 430 participants, tested endurance with its steep elevation and harsh weather conditions. As captain of the Indian Army Ultramarathon and Adventure Triathlon Team, Major Kuntal has consistently brought accolades to the force, including leading his team to success in the IronMan 70.3 triathlon. His achievements not only highlight the physical prowess of the Indian Army but also inspire others in endurance sports, underscoring the military’s commitment to fostering athletic excellence.
