Indian Army Launches Community Radio Station to Empower Rajouri Residents

The Indian Army has launched a community radio station in the Keri sector near the Line of Control in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir, aimed at enhancing communication and outreach with local residents. This initiative will disseminate information on social welfare, education, and health, while also providing a platform for local voices and culture. The Deputy Commissioner of Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, noted the radio station’s role in connecting the local administration with the community. Additionally, a civil services coaching center has been inaugurated, providing crucial educational support to aspiring candidates from the region, thus addressing the lack of resources and opportunities for local students.
