Indian Army, CMCH conduct flood relief camp in Gurdaspur
A flood relief camp was organized by the Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, in collaboration with the Panther Division of the Indian Army in Gurdaspur district as part of Operation Rahat. The initiative provided medical aid to around 225 villagers evacuated from 15 flood-affected areas, along with essential supplies like dry rations and sanitary napkins. Notably, medical personnel also ventured by boat to reach remote villages on the Indo-Pak border, ensuring aid reached those unable to attend the camp. This effort underscores the Indian Army’s commitment to humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, showcasing their pivotal role in community support during crises.
