Indian officials have also pointed to ongoing issues such as illegal border crossings and challenges posed by a porous border, with over 3,100km already fenced. Additionally, India condemned misleading social media remarks from an adviser in the Bangladeshi interim government, considering them infringements on its sovereignty.
