Students from IIT-Bombay have successfully mapped the Moon’s surface chemistry using data from ISRO’s Chandrayaan-2 mission, showcasing their advanced astrophysics and data analysis skills during the Inter-IIT Tech Meet. The Large Area Soft X-ray Spectrometer onboard Chandrayaan-2 has provided extensive data, allowing the students to extract significant information on lunar composition.
