ICGS Sachet delivers 20 tons of aid to Mozambique, enhancing ties.

The Indian Coast Guard Ship ICGS Sachet has arrived in Mozambique carrying 20 metric tons of humanitarian aid, reinforcing India’s commitment to regional stability under the SAGAR (Security and Growth for All in the Region) vision. This initiative includes not only the delivery of medical supplies but also extensive professional engagements with Mozambique’s maritime agencies, focusing on areas such as Marine Pollution Response and Maritime Law Enforcement. The crew’s activities will include onboard training exercises and community outreach initiatives, aligning with India’s Puneet Sagar Abhiyan for environmental conservation.
