On October 8, 2025, the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) and the Indian Air Force (IAF) launched a joint scuba diving expedition from Goa to commemorate the IAF’s 93rd anniversary. A team of 20 divers explored the Angria bank, emphasizing inter-service synergy and operational camaraderie while promoting marine conservation and maritime domain awareness. The event also featured the public display of the restored Hindustan Trainer-2 (HT-2) aircraft, India’s first indigenously built military aircraft, highlighting the IAF’s rich heritage. This initiative not only showcases the cooperative spirit between the armed services but also underscores India’s commitment to preserving its marine environment while enhancing national security through collaborative efforts.
