IAF's Sarang team to showcase Dhruv helicopters in aerial acrobatics.
The Indian Air Force’s Sarang Helicopter Display Team is set to showcase an impressive aerial acrobatics display using its indigenously developed Advanced Light Helicopters (ALH) Dhruv in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, on December 6 and 7. This performance will feature intricate formations such as the Wine Glass, Diamond, and a tribute formation named “India,” exemplifying the team’s precision flying skills. The Sarang team, based in Tamil Nadu, is expected to captivate audiences with their signature maneuver known as the “Sarang Split,” which involves helicopters soaring together before dramatically peeling away. This event not only highlights the technical prowess of the IAF but also reinforces India’s commitment to showcasing its indigenous defense capabilities and fostering national pride.
