Indian space-tech start-up GalaxEye has announced plans to launch the world’s first multi-sensor Earth observation satellite, Mission Drishti, in early 2026. This satellite, weighing 160 kg and featuring cutting-edge synthetic aperture radar and high-resolution optical payloads, will provide advanced geospatial analysis for various sectors including defense, agriculture, and disaster management. By aiming to deploy a constellation of 8-10 satellites over the next four years, GalaxEye is positioning India as a key player in the global space industry, enhancing capabilities for real-time environmental monitoring.
