Foreign Service Attaches visit Southern Naval Command to enhance maritime cooperation and showcase Indian naval capabilities.
A delegation of 48 Foreign Service Attaches (FSAs) from various countries accredited to India visited the Southern Naval Command (SNC) in Kochi, where they were briefed on the Indian Navy’s diverse operational roles and advanced training methodologies. The FSAs participated in a “Day at Sea” aboard the indigenously developed NOPV INS Sunayna and the survey vessel INS Ikshak, witnessing naval evolutions and flying operations. This visit, organized by HQ IDS, aimed to enhance understanding and cooperation among the nations, reflecting India’s commitment to maritime partnership and its role in regional security. Such engagements not only showcase India’s naval capabilities but also strengthen diplomatic ties through mutual knowledge sharing and professional interaction.
