On October 7, 2025, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) conducted a special cleanliness drive at DRDO Bhawan as part of the Government’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiative. This event featured a variety of activities, including geotagging, community lectures on cleanliness, and competitions in art and literature, fostering a culture of environmental responsibility among participants. The Director General of DRDO acknowledged the contributions of the safai mitras, emphasizing that Swachhotsav is an ongoing movement aimed at instilling lifelong habits for a cleaner, healthier environment.
