Defence Ministry Hosts Blood Donation Camp to Support Healthcare Initiative
On October 1, 2025, the Ministry of Defence, in partnership with the Armed Forces Transfusion Centre, held a Blood Donation Camp at South Block, New Delhi, aligning with the theme “Give Blood, Give Hope: Together We Save Lives.” The initiative saw participation from 202 officials and staff, all of whom underwent health screenings to maintain safety and quality standards. Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh attended the event, emphasizing the critical role of voluntary blood donation in strengthening the national healthcare system. This initiative not only highlights the commitment of the Indian defense forces to community health but also fosters a spirit of solidarity and support during times of need, reinforcing the importance of civic responsibility in enhancing India’s medical capabilities.
