Defence Ministry hosts blood donation camp on National Donation Day.
On October 2, the Defence Ministry organized a Blood Donation Camp at South Block, New Delhi, in conjunction with National Voluntary Blood Donation Day, which aims to raise awareness about the significance of blood donation. The camp saw participation from 202 Ministry officials, all of whom underwent thorough health screenings to ensure safety. Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh emphasized the campaign’s theme, “Give Blood, Give Hope: Together We Save Lives,” promoting community involvement in enhancing the national healthcare system. This initiative not only highlights the urgent need for voluntary blood donations but also reinforces the sense of responsibility and altruism among citizens, which is vital for supporting healthcare needs across the country.
