On September 22-23, 2025, the inaugural Tri-Services Academia Technology Symposium (T-SATS) will be held at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi, inaugurated by Chief of Defence Staff, General Anil Chauhan. This initiative, organized by the Indian Army under the Integrated Defence Staff, aims to enhance collaboration between the armed forces and academic institutions, focusing on developing niche technologies vital for national defense. The theme, “Vivek va Anusandhan se Vijay” (Victory Through Wisdom and Innovation), reflects the emphasis on research and technological solutions tailored to the operational needs of the military. The event will gather over 200 top academic representatives, R&D institutions, and military experts, marking a significant step towards fostering innovation and strengthening India’s defense capabilities through academia.
