BRO's Project Arunank marks 18 years of enhancing strategic connectivity in Arunachal Pradesh.

Project Arunank of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) celebrated its 18th Raising Day on October 24, 2025, in Naharlagun, Arunachal Pradesh, highlighting 17 years of impactful service in challenging terrains. This project has constructed over 696 km of vital roads and 1.18 km of major bridges, significantly enhancing connectivity to remote areas, including strategic locations along the Line of Actual Control. Noteworthy achievements include the blacktopping of the 278 km Hapoli-Sarli-Huri Road and the introduction of sustainable construction technologies. Upcoming initiatives aim to further bolster infrastructure for both civilian and defense needs, reinforcing India’s strategic capabilities in a critical region. This commitment to infrastructure development is vital for national security and regional connectivity, reflecting the importance of enhanced logistical support for the Armed Forces.
