30 Nepalese prisoners caught at Bihar, UP, Bengal; border security heightened.

The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has apprehended 30 Nepalese prisoners attempting to infiltrate India through Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Bengal amid unrest in Nepal. Enhanced border vigilance has been implemented, with joint patrols and a high alert declared in critical districts. The Indian government is taking proactive measures, including a security alert from central agencies, to prevent further infiltration. Additionally, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has instructed Air India and IndiGo to increase flights for stranded Indian nationals in Nepal, showcasing India’s commitment to safeguard its citizens and maintain border security during regional instability.
