The event highlighted the bravery of Gorkha soldiers, celebrated their historical significance, and aimed to strengthen India-Nepal ties. Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan emphasized the importance of remembering this legacy, while the project seeks to inspire future generations and instill pride in the armed forces among youth. Additionally, Lucknow’s Sainik School has been renamed to honor Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey, reflecting the deep respect for military contributions.
