KIIT-DU partners with IAF to enhance education for air warriors and families

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Indian Air Force to expand higher education opportunities for serving and retired air warriors and their wards, including engineering and medical programs, with admissions via NEET for medical/dental and KIITEE for other courses, and provisions such as tuition fee concessions and support for families of personnel who died in service; the MoU was formalized in Bhubaneswar between Air Vice Marshal Harjit S Sidana, VSM, Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Education), and KIIT-DU Vice Chancellor Prof. Saranjit Singh on August 29, 2025, alongside discussions on joint R&D and short-term programs, and follows KIIT’s recent defense-sector collaborations with the Navy and Coast Guard to broaden educational access for armed forces families
