Indian Army's Spear Corps Completes Yoga Training in Arunachal

A two-week yoga training program for combatants of the Indian Army’s Spear Corps concluded recently in Arunachal Pradesh’s West Siang district. This initiative, as outlined by Defence PRO Lt Col Mahendra Rawat, aimed to enhance the holistic well-being of soldiers by integrating physical endurance with mental resilience through yoga. The training sessions were specifically designed to meet the unique physical and psychological demands faced by soldiers in challenging terrains and climates, fostering qualities such as calmness, emotional balance, and spiritual strength, which are essential for effective soldiering under operational stress. This program underscores the Indian Army’s commitment to the overall well-being of its personnel, enhancing their operational effectiveness in high-stress environments.
