IMA Dehradun sees 491 officers commissioned into Indian Army during Passing Out Parade.
A grand Passing Out Parade at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun marked the commissioning of 491 young officers into the Indian Army, alongside 34 foreign cadets from 14 nations. The ceremony, reviewed by Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, celebrated the culmination of rigorous training for the 157th Regular Course and several other entry schemes. Notable achievements included the Sword of Honour awarded to ACA Nishkal Dwivedi and medals recognizing excellence among technical and special commission officers. General Dwivedi emphasized the responsibilities of service, urging the new officers to embody the Army’s traditions of loyalty and commitment as they embark on their lifelong duty. This event underscores India’s commitment to nurturing leadership and strengthening its military capabilities.
