IDSE Celebrates 76th Raising Day, Emphasizing Engineering Excellence
The Indian Defence Service of Engineers (IDSE) celebrated its 76th Raising Day on September 17, 2025, at the Manekshaw Centre in Delhi Cantt, with Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh as the chief guest. In his address, he praised IDSE officers for their critical role in enhancing national defense through the development of top-tier infrastructure and urged them to adopt new technologies to tackle emerging security challenges. Established on September 17, 1949, IDSE plays a vital role in constructing and maintaining essential military infrastructure, including accommodations, buildings, airfields, and specialized facilities for various branches of the armed forces and DRDO.
