High Court orders re-exam for IAF aspirant due to flawed diagnosis
The Punjab and Haryana High Court has mandated a fresh medical examination for an Indian Air Force aspirant, Deepak, who was previously rejected due to a hypertension diagnosis, deemed flawed by the court. The court criticized the government’s failure to establish proper medical jurisprudence regarding blood pressure assessment, highlighting inconsistencies in evaluations. It noted that Deepak was cleared of other health issues and had undergone multiple independent assessments concluding he was not hypertensive. If found medically fit in the upcoming examination, Deepak will be allowed to join the IAF, emphasizing the importance of fair medical evaluations in recruitment processes.
