A total of 1,546 cadets, including 867 boys and 679 girls, from 17 NCC Directorates are participating in the twelve-day Thal Sainik Camp at Cariappa Parade Ground, Delhi, inaugurated by Air Vice Marshal PVS Narayana. The camp offers cadets opportunities to engage in competitions like Obstacle Training and Map Reading, focusing on physical endurance, mental acuity, and teamwork. It aims to enhance leadership, discipline, and national integration among youth, preparing them for future challenges. This initiative underscores the NCC’s vital role in developing character and camaraderie, fostering a sense of adventure and honour among the cadets, and ultimately contributing to the nation’s defense ethos.
