Two new Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camps have been established in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, to address security needs and facilitate development under the “Niyad Nella Nar” scheme. This brings the total number of camps in the district to 36 in 2024, with 193 Maoists neutralised and 496 surrendering. The camps, strategically located, are expected to enhance regional connectivity and support essential services like health and education for villagers. This initiative showcases the Indian government’s commitment to restoring peace and development in Naxal-affected areas, reinforcing security forces’ resolve despite challenging conditions.
