Top officials from the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, and Border Security Force (BSF) conducted a security review along the Indo-Bangladesh border in Tripura, amid heightened tensions in Bangladesh. Lt General RC Tiwari, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Command, visited the Belonia sub-division to assess the preparedness of forces deployed in this strategically sensitive area, which features significant unfenced sections of the border.
