Top Army Leaders Assess Security at Tripura's Bangladesh Border

Top officials from the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, and Border Security Force (BSF) conducted a security review along the Indo-Bangladesh border in Tripura, amid heightened tensions in Bangladesh. Lt General RC Tiwari, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Command, visited the Belonia sub-division to assess the preparedness of forces deployed in this strategically sensitive area, which features significant unfenced sections of the border. He commended the professionalism and alertness of the troops stationed there, highlighting their commitment to safeguarding India’s borders. This proactive approach reflects India’s dedication to maintaining security in vulnerable regions and underscores the importance of vigilance in the face of evolving regional dynamics.
