Soldier dies in Udhampur during Army-police anti-terror operation.

A soldier was killed following a gunfight with terrorists in the Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, where a joint operation by the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police’s Special Operations Group (SOG) was underway. The soldier, critically injured during the encounter in the Seoj Dhar forest, succumbed to his injuries after being transferred to a hospital. The operation, intensified with reinforcements including drones and sniffer dogs, aims to locate two to three terrorists believed to be hiding in the area.
