Shatrujeet Brigade boosts combat readiness with aquatic training drills.

The Shatrujeet Brigade of the Indian Army’s Central Command has enhanced its combat readiness through rigorous Watermanship Training, which focuses on aquatic manoeuvres and combat diving skills. This training aims to build endurance and tactical precision, ensuring that troops are mission-ready for water-based operations. Meanwhile, Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, the GOC-in-C, highlighted the brigade’s high operational readiness and dedication during his visit to celebrate the New Year with troops in the Kumaon region. Additionally, a memorial ceremony was held to honor Sep (Late) Manish Kumar Netam, a soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice during Operation Meghdoot, reflecting the Army’s commitment to valor and community engagement. These developments underscore the Army’s focus on adaptability and resilience in multifaceted operational environments.
