Rajnath Singh: No Pakistani civilians harmed in Operation Sindoor strikes.

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated that during Operation Sindoor, conducted in response to the Pahalgam attack, no Pakistani civilians were harmed, emphasizing that strikes targeted terrorist hideouts instead. Singh revealed that India ceased its operations at Pakistan’s request while firmly denying external pressures influencing this decision. He reaffirmed that the operation against Pakistan’s state-sponsored terrorism remains ongoing and reiterated the Indian Army’s capability to act if necessary. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also noted Pakistan’s request for a truce, asserting that the conflict is far from over. This discourse underscores India’s robust stance against terrorism and its commitment to safeguarding national security, reflecting a proactive defense strategy in a volatile regional context.
