Operation Sindoor exemplifies successful civil-military collaboration, enhancing public confidence, says Defence Minister.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh highlighted the successful execution of Operation Sindoor as a prime example of civil-military coordination during the valedictory ceremony of the 100th Common Foundation Course at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) on November 29, 2025. He praised the seamless collaboration between administrative officials and armed forces, noting that the operation effectively neutralized terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir while maintaining a balanced and non-escalatory stance. Singh emphasized the importance of mock drills conducted nationwide as they demonstrated India’s readiness and commitment to public service, while also encouraging civil servants to leverage technology and social media for positive change rather than self-promotion. He called upon young civil servants to embody integrity, empathy, and responsibility as they play pivotal roles in shaping a self-reliant India by 2047. The Defence Minister underscored the significant socio-economic transformations under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, which has led to increased job opportunities and educational enrolment, asserting the necessity for inclusive development where all segments of society participate in India’s progress.
