Indian Naval Ship INS Trikand, a stealth frigate, has successfully completed a significant deployment in the Mediterranean Sea, highlighted by its recent visit to Limassol, Cyprus, on September 21, 2025. This port call, which included professional interactions and cultural exchanges, aimed to strengthen maritime cooperation between India and Cyprus, further enhancing regional security and capacity-building initiatives. During this deployment, INS Trikand also engaged in its inaugural bilateral maritime exercise with the Hellenic Navy from September 13 to 18, focusing on anti-submarine and air defense operations to bolster interoperability.
