The Indian Navy showcased its operational readiness and multidimensional capabilities during Grand Navy Week 2025 in Porbandar, Gujarat, on December 8, 2025. The event featured a grand operational demonstration, including high-speed manoeuvres by Fast Interceptor and Fast Attack Crafts, coordinated GEMINI boat formations, and a flypast by Dornier aircraft, all highlighting the Navy’s agility and precision. Newly inducted warships such as INS Surat, INS Vibhuti, INS Karuva, and INS Kondul were illuminated at dusk, symbolizing India’s growing naval strength and constant vigilance on the western seaboard. The demonstration also included a March Past by naval platoons, Defence Security Corps, and NCC cadets, along with cultural performances and open-ship engagements that strengthened civil-military ties and inspired young minds. The event reaffirmed the Indian Navy’s commitment to safeguarding national maritime interests and celebrated Gujarat’s rich seafaring legacy.
