The Indian Army has announced the opening of the 91-kilometre Hanle-Chumar road in Ladakh, enhancing strategic connectivity along the border. Constructed by Project Himank of the Border Roads Organisation, this route spans extreme altitudes of 14,500 to 17,200 feet and will significantly boost operational readiness for the Armed Forces.
