Indian Army Deployed for Rescue as Heavy Rains Stranded 200 in Maharashtra
Heavy rains in Maharashtra’s Nanded district have left over 200 people stranded and led to the deployment of an Indian Army unit for rescue operations, as the region continues to face severe weather conditions. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reported that five individuals are currently missing in addition to the stranded citizens, with significant rainfall affecting daily life in several villages within Mukhed taluka.
