Indian Army completes six-day route march in Sikkim's heights

Indian Army’s Trishakti Corps successfully conducted a rigorous six-day route march in Sikkim, reaching altitudes of 17,000 feet while carrying full operational loads to replicate battlefield conditions. This exercise emphasizes the importance of human endurance and teamwork, complementing the Army’s integration of modern technology like drones and smart logistics. Lt Gen Zubin A Minwalla highlighted that while technology enhances capabilities, the soldiers’ grit ultimately secures victories. This march follows a joint high-altitude combat diving training involving Indian Army’s Special Forces and Navy MARCOS, reinforcing the military’s preparedness to operate in extreme conditions, safeguarding India’s eastern Himalayan frontiers.
