Indian Army builds 150-ft bridge in Ramban to restore connectivity

The Indian Army has successfully restored vital connectivity in Ramban by constructing a 150-foot reinforced Bailey bridge on the Karol-Maitra Road and another on the Ramban-Gool road, significantly benefiting around 1.5 lakh residents. This initiative, executed by the White Knight Corps in collaboration with local authorities, was crucial following severe floods that disrupted daily life and access to essential services. The bridges not only facilitate transport but also symbolize the Army’s commitment to humanitarian efforts, enhancing the bond between the armed forces and local communities. These developments underscore the Indian Army’s role in disaster relief and infrastructure resilience in challenging conditions.
