The 14th edition of the India-Maldives joint military exercise EKUVERIN commenced in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, focusing on counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism operations across diverse terrains. Running from December 2-15, the exercise involves 45 personnel from the Indian Army’s GARHWAL RIFLES and an equal contingent from the Maldives National Defence Force.
