IAF's Su-30 MKI and Rafale join France for Exercise Garuda 25.
An Indian Air Force (IAF) contingent has arrived at Mont-de-Marsan Air Base in France to participate in the bilateral air exercise Exercise Garuda 25 with the French Air and Space Force from November 16-25. The exercise will feature IAF Su-30 MKI and Rafale aircraft engaging in simulated combat scenarios, enhancing interoperability and defense cooperation between the two nations. This year marks the continuation of a partnership that began in 2003, with previous exercises showcasing advanced IAF capabilities, including participation from the Light Combat Aircraft Tejas and Light Combat Helicopter Prachand. The growing collaboration between India and France underscores their commitment to mutual defense interests and regional stability, reinforcing strategic ties in an increasingly complex geopolitical landscape.
