IAF's Rafale and Sukhoi jets enhance collaboration in Garuda 25 exercise.

India and France have commenced the Garuda 25 joint air exercise at Mont-de-Marsan, showcasing the collaboration between the Indian Air Force’s Su-30MKI and the French Rafale fighter jets. This marks the eighth iteration of the Garuda series, aimed at enhancing interoperability and defense cooperation, with both nations practicing air combat and coordinated strike missions under simulated combat conditions. The Indian contingent, which arrived on November 10, includes IL-78 refuelling tankers and C-17 transport aircraft, emphasizing India’s commitment to strengthening its air power with plans for additional Su-30MKI jets. This exercise not only reinforces the strategic partnership between India and France but also signals India’s growing capabilities in the aerospace sector on a global stage.
