IAF rescues 11 civilians, delivers 2,150 kg of essentials in Punjab floods.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has successfully evacuated 11 civilians and delivered 2,150 kg of essential supplies in flood-hit areas of Punjab, demonstrating its commitment to humanitarian service. The IAF, alongside the Indian Army’s Western Command, has deployed 24 aircraft, including helicopters, to aid extensive rescue and relief operations following severe flooding. Lt General Manoj Kumar Katiyar commended the collaborative efforts with civil authorities to restore normalcy. This operation underscores the Indian Armed Forces’ readiness and efficiency in managing disaster relief, showcasing their vital role in national resilience and community support during crises.
