IAF Chief: Future Operations Should Target PAF's Ground Assets
The IAF Chief revealed that during Operation Sindoor, there were calls to intensify strikes against the PAF, particularly to target aircraft on the ground, which could have significantly degraded PAF combat strength. While the operation demonstrated India’s capacity to strike deep into Pakistani airspace, the Chief acknowledged that future strategies should focus on crippling PAF assets like F-16s and JF-17s during maintenance. Enhanced ISR capabilities and advanced munitions are essential for this approach. The IAF’s success in damaging crucial infrastructure at Sargodha, a strategic base, highlights India’s growing operational capabilities and the importance of decisive actions in future conflicts.
