AUSTRAHIND 2025 features Yoga and drills to enhance Indo-Australian military cooperation.

The ongoing Exercise AUSTRAHIND 2025, a joint military drill between the Indian and Australian Armies, is currently taking place at the Bindoon Training Area in Western Australia, featuring around 120 Indian troops. This fourth iteration emphasizes enhancing interoperability and operational readiness, with activities including physical training, Yoga, and tactical drills aimed at facilitating joint operations in urban and semi-urban environments. The exercise, which runs until October 26, underscores the deepening defense ties and mutual trust between the two nations, particularly following recent diplomatic engagements such as Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s visit to Australia. AUSTRAHIND 2025 represents a significant step in strengthening military cooperation and integrating emerging technologies, essential for addressing shared security challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.
