Army enhances security and redeploys for winter after Pahalgam attack.

In preparation for the upcoming winter in Kashmir, following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian Army is implementing significant security measures, enhancing the anti-infiltration grid along the Line of Control (LoC), and redeploying troops. Intelligence indicates that terrorists may adapt their tactics, utilizing multiple hideouts and local communications to evade detection. To counter this, the Army is bolstering surveillance capabilities with advanced technologies, including thermal imagers and drones, while enhancing human intelligence on the ground. This proactive strategy aims to prevent infiltration attempts and strengthen area dominance, reflecting India’s commitment to securing its borders and maintaining operational readiness in the face of evolving threats.
