Army Controls Fire in Kaying, Two Houses Damaged

In Kaying village, Arunachal Pradesh, a significant fire engulfed two houses, prompting a swift response from the Indian Army, which deployed troops and firefighting resources to control the blaze and prevent further damage. Their prompt action resulted in the safe evacuation of civilians and the provision of medical treatment to an individual with burn injuries. The local community praised the Army’s intervention as “lifesaving” and “heroic.” In light of this incident, the Arunachal Pradesh cabinet has approved the establishment of four new fire stations to enhance emergency response and fire safety infrastructure across the region, reflecting a proactive approach to community safety.
