Army Commander Assesses Troop Readiness in Ladakh

Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, the General Officer Commanding-in-chief of the Northern Command, reviewed the operational preparedness of Indian Army troops in Eastern Ladakh, including the Siachen Brigade and the Karakoram Pass. During his visit on September 27, he commended the high morale and commitment of the soldiers, interacted with National Flag Quiz winners, and initiated a mountaineering expedition at Siachen Base Camp. His discussions with Ladakh Lt Governor Kavinder Gupta emphasized the importance of enhancing coordination between civil authorities and the military to ensure peace amidst regional challenges.
