US Recognizes India as Key Partner in AI and Supply Chains
The US has recognized India as a “highly strategic partner” in advancing AI and supply chain security, highlighted by Jacob Helberg’s forthcoming participation in the India AI Impact Summit in February. This engagement follows India’s absence from the Pax Silica Summit, where the US outlined its new economic policy prioritizing supply chain resilience against China. Helberg emphasized continuous communication between the two nations and expressed eagerness to deepen cooperation, particularly in semiconductor and AI sectors. The strategic partnership aims to enhance India’s role in global technology supply chains, aligning with its own initiatives like the India Semiconductor Mission, while addressing existing challenges in regulatory alignment and investment scaling.
