The paper stresses trusted information and communications technology networks, semiconductor and critical minerals cooperation, and the harmonisation of cyber and software security standards, areas where India is emerging as a preferred manufacturing and technology hub. It also highlights collaboration in artificial intelligence, biotechnology and secure digital infrastructure, dovetailing with India’s Production Linked Incentive schemes and ambitions to become a global semiconductor and critical-tech player. For New Delhi, the U.S. push effectively validates India’s long-standing pitch for diversified, non-China-centric supply chains and positions the Quad as a platform that amplifies Indian strategic and economic leverage across the Indo-Pacific.
