US outlines Quad priorities for resilient supply chains and tech collaboration.

On 16 December 2025, the U.S. State Department released a document outlining updated priority areas for the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (Quad), putting resilient supply chains, energy security and quality infrastructure at the centre of its Indo-Pacific strategy. The paper stresses trusted information and communications technology networks, semiconductor and critical minerals cooperation, and the harmonisation of cyber and software security standards, areas where India is emerging as a preferred manufacturing and technology hub. It also highlights collaboration in artificial intelligence, biotechnology and secure digital infrastructure, dovetailing with India’s Production Linked Incentive schemes and ambitions to become a global semiconductor and critical-tech player. For New Delhi, the U.S. push effectively validates India’s long-standing pitch for diversified, non-China-centric supply chains and positions the Quad as a platform that amplifies Indian strategic and economic leverage across the Indo-Pacific.
