Philippines envoy praises Indian Navy's strength after joint drills

The Philippines’ envoy to the UK, Teodoro Lopez Locsin Jr, lauded the Indian Navy’s operational freedom, particularly following recent joint exercises in the West Philippine Sea, a region of contention with China. He emphasized India’s capacity to navigate these waters with confidence, contrasting it with Western naval hesitance. These drills signify India’s growing maritime influence and potential for deeper defense ties with the Philippines, enhancing its strategic posture in the Indo-Pacific.
